Italian Chunky chopped tomatoes with freshly chopped onion, celery, carrots, pepper, garlic, and a pinch of oregano are blended in rich tomato juice. Coppola Polpa+ Vegetables are made in Salerno with selected round tomato varieties grown in sunny and fertile Southern Italy. These tomatoes ripen fully between the summer months of August and September when they are harvested, attentively sorted, steam-peeled, chopped into chunky pieces, and packed in rich tomato juice together with freshly chopped vegetables. Coppola Polpa+ Vegetables are Halal certified, made with no salt, no sugar, and no sweeteners added, and they are free from artificial flavors, thickeners, or firming agents. They are packed in easy-open, white lacquered, BPA-free lining tinned cans.
A perfect tomato base for Bolognese sauce, also great for soups or casseroles. It’s an excellent tomato product for cooking one-pot pasta or pasta risottata.
