This is the classic recipe of taralli from Puglia.

With a crumbly consistency, these taralli are ideal for a full-flavored snack, as part of an antipasti platter or accompanied by a good glass of wine. They are an excellent substitute for bread.

Selected specially by Gourmica from an artisanal bakery in the Salento area in Puglia, in the South of Italy, these taralli are made with the right mix of olive oil and flour resulting in a crunchy flavoursome snack.

Durum wheat re-milled semolina flour, water, high oleic sunflower oil (11%), olive oil (2.2%), salt, brewer’s yeast (baker?s yeast, salt, stabilizer, xanthan gum).
