Coppola Tomato Passata: Italian sieved tomatoes with a rich texture and a bright red colour.
It is ideal for all recipes requiring a short time of preparation and to add flavour to dishes.
Coppola Tomato Passata carefully selects and uses fully ripe round tomatoes, grown in sunny and fertile Central and Southern Italy. They harvest these tomatoes between August and September, and then sort, sieve, and cook them with a pinch of salt at low temperature to create a smooth sauce with a rich texture and bright red color.
Coppola makes Passata from fresh tomatoes, with no concentrate or puree.
It is made with no sugar, no sweeteners added, and it is free from artificial flavours, thickeners, or firming agents.
Packed in tetra pack brik.
Good to know: The Italian word passata means “passed through” as people used to make this smooth sauce by passing through a sieve peeled plum tomatoes.
